Zero Waste Practices

"Malzeme türlerine göre ayrı biriktirme yapılması durumunda kullanılacak biriktirme ekipmanlarında kağıt atıklar için mavi, plastik atıklar için sarı, cam atıklar için yeşil, metal atıklar için açık gri renk kullanılır.

Blue

Paper and cardboard boxes,
Newspapers, magazines, books,
Writing and drawing papers,
Plastic bottles and Plastic cans,
Metal (aluminum) beverage cans,
Metal (steel) food boxes,
Glass beverage and food bottles,
Glass jars etc. is accumulated.

Grey

Mixed municipal waste
Scrub cleaning residues
Wet towels and wipes,
Kitchen accessory wastes such as ceramics and porcelain are accumulated.

Brown

Fruit and vegetable waste and residues,
All kinds of tea and coffee pulps,
All kinds of food waste,
Green grass, leaves, flowers and similar wastes from park and garden care
etc. is accumulated.

Waste Batteries

Waste batteries defined by the Regulation on Control of Waste Batteries and Accumulators dated 31.08.2004 and numbered 25569 are collected in accordance with the same Regulation.

Vegetable Oil Wastes

Defined by the Regulation on Control of Waste Vegetable Oils dated 06.06.2015 and numbered 29378;
Edible oils and fats
Used frying oils
are accumulated.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment

Within the scope of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Control Regulation dated 22.05.2012 and numbered 28300;
fluorescent lamps
small appliances
IT and telecommunications and
similar equipment is collected.

Medical Wastes

It is ensured that the medical wastes defined by the Regulation on Control of Medical Wastes published in the Official Gazette dated 25.12.2017 and numbered 29959 are collected in accordance with the same Regulation.

Pharmaceutical Wastes

Medications that are expired or no longer used, spoiled or left due to the completion of the treatment process are accumulated.

Other Hazardous/Non-Hazardous Wastes

Hazardous and non-hazardous wastes other than those mentioned above are collected in accordance with the relevant legislation according to the waste code in the Waste Management Regulation Annex-4 Waste List.
